A Space to Work on Your Art

Got an art project you’ve been meaning to start but don’t have the space, motivation or confidence?

Finding time to create and get in the zone at home isn't always easy. Our cosy art studio in Halling is available for use when it’s not being used for classes- you can either join one of our friendly group 'Open Studio Sessions' or hire it privately all to yourself.

Open Studio Sessions

​

Our Open Studio Sessions are bookable up until the end of November currently. You can RSVP to reserve a place at one of our tables and work on your own art alongside other like-minded creatives in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Our art tutor Rhiannon will be available intermittently if you’d like a little over-the-shoulder guidance. And if you’re feeling short on inspiration, we’ll also have a selection of great reference photos on a variety of themes to help spark your next drawing or painting.

Sessions take place every Monday with two slots available:

​

• 10am to 1pm

• 6:30pm to 9:30pm

Cost:​ £10 per person for a 3-hour session*

​

*students of our Level 2 Art Across Mediums Course may attend for free

What's included in the cost?

​

General studio equipment is available for use:

Brushes, water, table top easels and standing easels, jars, pencils, rubbers, masking tape, masking fluid, rulers, fine liners etc. Tea, coffee, water & biscuits are available in the studio but feel free to bring your own snacks.

 

Just bring your own paints and paper.

 

If you don’t have your own painting mediums and/ or paper, studio supplies can be used on request for a small additional charge. A wide variety of mediums are kept in stock.

 

Larger projects:

 

• Standing space and full-size easels can be provided on request.

• For projects larger than A3, please check availability of table space.

 

The studio is available for a maximum of 6 people per session.​​ Come along, get comfortable, and enjoy some dedicated creative time.
