About the event
Join Rhiannon for a 12-week creative journey designed to strengthen your drawing and painting foundations while exploring a variety of inspiring mediums.
Beginning with pencil and pen work, we’ll build your confidence in observation, proportion, and perspective before progressing into watercolour and gouache painting. Colour theory, composition, and values will be studied in detail throughout.
The course concludes with an introduction to oil painting, where you’ll apply your skills to landscapes, still life studies and portraits.
Each week blends demonstration, guided practice, and personalised feedback in a relaxed, supportive environment.
During this course, you can expect to gain confidence working with a variety of mediums with a better understanding of technical elements, and most importantly, you will develop a sense of your own art style and preferences.
Class duration: 2.5 hours per week
